
Gary P. Miller, MD, FACC
Dr.
Gary Miller is Board Certified in Cardiology. He graduated from the
Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. His cardiology training was at
the East Tennessee State University. In addition, Dr. Miller has been
later trained in Coronary and Peripheral Interventions (angioplasty,
stents) at Duke University Medical Center.Dr. Miller has served on the Virginia Board of Medicine and is a delegate to the Medical Society of Virginia.
Dr. Miller specializes in interventional cardiac procedures including percutaneous coronary angioplasty and stenting, implantation of cardiac pacemakers, and other procedures. He is also interested in peripheral vascular interventions, echocardiography, and stress testing.
Dr. Miller sees patients with broad spectrum of cardiac problems, such as coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, cardiomyopathies, cardiac rhythm problems, disorders of cardiac valves, adult congenital heart disease, and other conditions.
David Kotlaba, MD, FACC
Dr.
Kotlaba is Board Certified in Cardiology. He is a graduate of the
Charles University Medical School in Prague and completed his
cardiology training at the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, MI. Dr.
Kotlaba has also received a comprehensive training in nuclear
cardiology and is licensed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.Dr Kotlaba has served as the President of the Danville-Pittsylvania Academy of Medicine for 2009.
Dr. Kotlaba has a clinical interest in invasive and non-invasive evaluation of cardiac valve disorders, cardiomyopathy, nuclear stress testing, and preventive cardiology. Cardiac procedures frequently performed include transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms, diagnostic heart catheterizations with hemodynamic assessment, and stress testing

Brian W. Zagol, MD, FACC
Dr.
Zagol is Board Certified in Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, Internal
Medicine, and Level 2 trained in
Cardiac CT angiography. He graduated from the Temple University School
of Medicine in Philadelphia
and completed his Cardiology training at the University of Tennessee.Dr. Zagol served 7 years in the United States Air Force and deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan where he was leader of a Critical Care Air Transport Team aeromedically evacuating critically ill or injured patients to higher levels of care or out of theater. He served as Medical Director of the Intensive Care Unit at Eglin AFB Regional Hospital, Eglin AFB, Florida from 2007 through 2011.
Dr. Zagol sees patients with a wide spectrum of cardiac problems including coronary artery disease, cardiac rhythm disorders, congestive heart failure, cardiac valve disorders, adult congenital heart disease, and other conditions. He performs stress echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, cardioversions, nuclear stress testing, and diagnostic heart catheterizations.
Tracey T. Brownback, PA-C
Tracey joined Cardiology Consultants in the Summer of 2009. She is a graduate of the James Madison University where she completed her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies. Her undergraduate education was at the Gardner-Webb University.Tracey is Board Certified by the NCCPA. She is trained in evaluation and treatment of patients with a wide range of medical conditions. She works closely with our physicians seeing cardiac patients both in our office and in the hospital.
